Shipping & Returns

Order shipments will be made to the address provided with your order and with the method selected during the checkout process.  Alaska Snowmobile Salvage guarantees that all items purchased through our Services will be packaged and delivered to identified shippers in the condition described on our site.

Please be advised that the majority of the parts we sell are in used condition.  We take pride in marketing high quality inventory, but parts may be greasy or dirty and/or have typical wear and tear, scratches, dings, dents, rust, and other imperfections.  Please reference individual product descriptions and photographs for information on the specific used parts you are purchasing.

Website orders are shipped from our Anchorage location via UPS and the US Postal Service.  Orders are generally shipped within 24 hours of orders being placed, but processing could take up to three business days for large or heavy items.  For some large, heavy, or specific (i.e. Motors) items, UPS may also be the only shipping option available.

Orders shipped via USPS (Priority Mail) generally take three days to arrive at any US location.  UPS Ground shipments can take between 3-9 days to reach US destinations. See chart below for estimated shipping times via UPS Ground.

While we take the upmost care in preparing your items for shipment, the Company will not be held liable for any product damage that may occur while any items purchased from us are in possession of the shipper.  All items purchased from this site are made pursuant to a shipment contract which means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.


All returns must be pre-authorized by a Company representative and must be accompanied by a RMA number issued by the company and the original invoice. A 20% restocking fee may apply to some returns.  A RMA number can be obtained by submitting a refund request through your order history available in the “My Account” section of the Site.  Items may not be accepted for return after 30 days from the order date.

Electrical parts (new or used), open gasket sets, special orders, or any part that has been modified in any way will not be accepted for return. All returns must be received within 14 days of the RMA# issue date or it will not be accepted. Postage and handling charges, both to and from our warehouse, are the responsibility of the customer.  Alaska Snowmobile Salvage shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit and will not accept shipments returned to us COD.

Alaska Snowmobile Salvage reserves the right to credit returns through a cash refund issued to your original payment method, through store credit, or through product exchange. All new products being returned must be 100% complete and must be returned with original packaging.


Most all used parts are offered with a satisfaction guarantee for 10 days after receipt of your shipment. Nonetheless, Alaska Snowmobile Salvage makes no warranty as to products sold by us, expressed or implied, including without any limitation any warranties or fitness for a particular purpose.  We do not provide any expressed or implied warranty of the suitability of a given component for your specific application and advise that you contact us prior to your purchase if you have specific product questions.

We will pass on all warranties made by the manufacturer who has the sole responsibility for performing such warranties on any new products sold by Alaska Snowmobile Salvage. The manufacturer shall be solely responsible for any damage to person or property arising from the design, manufacture or use of its products. Alaska Snowmobile Salvage accepts no liability for such damages with these products and shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
